Having started singing at a tender age of 7 years old, Marcus is no stranger to the stage. His past performances include having sung for former President S.R. Nathan at the Child Aid Concert, organized by The Straits Times, as well as for the closing ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games held at the Marina Bay Floating Platform.

With the aim of gaining more stage and singing experience as a singer, Marcus made a bold move to travel around Southeast Asia right after National Service - performing at pubs, bars, and private events. After almost 2 years of travelling, he is now based in Singapore to pursue his music career as Singapore’s first old school R&B singer.
